brcee_lee-mang_tombing._pic-mt.jpgN.Delhi, June 3:After a long year of toiling sweats and tears in professional rings. The four times International Champion Mang Tombing, a young Zomi kick boxing professional, who is also known as ‘Bruce Lee Return’ wants to enter into Hollywood  movies. Talking to our reporter yesterday at his residence in Gurgaon, Mang Tombing had many appearances in TV channels, serials, local and international media. Fearless Tombing and Edgar Noordanus, a famous Thai Kick-boxing Master-trainer had jointly shown ‘Thai Kick-boxing Demonstration’ telecast by NDTV Goodtimes two years back.
Many a times, Tombing has rejected media bites and interviews due to his contract. He has taught John Matulis, an American Jujutsu expert and Niko, Germany’s former boxing champion in free-style fighting. Beside this, he had also given trainings to many young and senior professional fighters from abroad, representatives of different nations and countries.
When it comes to acting in films, Tombing says, nobody did action better than real-life artists, since they are dealing with realities. They gained indepth experiences which added confidence to them.

The unforgotten hero, brought-up from an orphanage home in Manipur’s Churachandpur district had faced several hardships in his earlier days.  His die-hard attitude ‘to fight in the ring’ led him through many odds and fears. In those days, his meager earnings did not even meet his journey expenses.  But nothing could obstruct him from his passion.
Some of his achievements are
Gold Medal at Asian Kick Boxing Champion 2004 in New Delhi.
Three Gold Medals at World Open: Clash of the Champion-II 2005 in Maharashtra.
Gold Medal at Asian Open Mixed Martial Arts 2007 in Maharashtra.

No Indians has ever brought as many laurels to his country as Tombing does in the field of Kick Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts and Muaythai. He is the only professional fighter from one of India’s neglected state, who gets international recognition.
Tombing’s family moved to Bangalore few years back. An ex-serviceman, Pakanga, Tombing’s father visited his birthplace at Champhai’s Khawlian Tlangnuam in Mizoram recently.
