Lamka Jan 2 : Perhaps no organisations or clubs conducted such a big sports event with a huge cash incentives and awards in teh state as is being done to commemorate the Zomi National Days which falls on February 20 this year.

According to sources from the 62nd Zomi Namni / Zomi National Days Football Tournament, 2010 celebration organisers this year the first prize/champion awards will carry Rs 1 Lakhs alongwith trophies and medals while the runners up will get a prize of Rs 50,000.

The loosing semi finals will bag an award of Rs 5,000. Rs 500 each will also be awarded to players in each match .

This is not all.

The best players are to get Rs 3000, and best discipline team Rs 3,000, top scorers Rs 3,000 and the best goal keepers Rs 3,000 each . The tournament is to start from the 6th to 18th February this year.
